The 8th Chicago Organic Symposium will be held at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) on Saturday September 30, 2017. The UIC campus is centrally located in the West Loop area and is conveniently accessible by car, bus, or the Blue Line.
The Symposium is free to attend, but we ask that you register in advance. All are welcome to present posters on their research during our afternoon poster session as well.
The Symposium will be held in Lecture Center A1 near the library on the main campus. Parking is available in the UIC garage on the Northeast corner of the intersection of Halsted & Taylor.
The past year has been a landmark for chemistry in the Chicago area, and to highlight this we are pleased to welcome 2016 Nobel Laureate Sir Fraser Stoddart as our keynote speaker. We hope that you can join us for this celebration of the ongoing science in the Chicago area!
