WELCOME TO OUR SITE!

We are a learning sciences and chemistry education research group that explores (i) the identification of the task-specific use of visuo-spatial strategies in scientific problem solving, (ii) characterization of the interaction of visuo-spatial ability and scientific expertise, and (iii) the development of visualization software for teaching high school and college chemistry.

We approach these problems using psychometrics, clinical interviews, laboratory-based experiments, and curriculum development and assessment in science classrooms.
