Currently all NMR data transfer (Bruker and Varian) is done with the use of SSH (secure shell) software. We ask that you use this as opposed to flash drives so as to avoid malware. Since we are under the UIC IP umbrella now outside users will have to either email their data from here on campus or use a flash drive as a last resort. If you plug directly into the ethernet in SEL/SES then you should be able to access the NMRs remotely.

Those with a UIC ICard number should be able to access data through a virtual private network (VPN).
The VPN will allow full access to UIC resources (Library, NMRs, etc) from an outside network.
